MaHat are James Hollingsworth and Sean McBride, based in Bristol, UK. With decades of experience in professional musicianship between us, we specialise in using 'real' acoustic instruments to create bespoke music for media projects, as well as offering a variety of library music pieces for film soundtracks, promotional and corporate uses.

We're both experienced multi-instrumentalists with a flair for improvisation using acoustic and electric guitars; vocals; alto, tenor, soprano and baritone saxophones; flute; electric and double bass; percussion; ocarinas and harmonicas (Blues-harp and folk styles). Shifting easily between musical genres we're familiar with many popular Western styles (Pop, Rock, Funk, Blues, Classical, Jazz and Electronica) as well as World Music styles and atmospheric moods.
